013/014: Softening Photos and Getting "That Vintage Look"
This is the third recording of Episode 13… the two previous attempts were confounded, but I will not be stopped! In fact, since we missed a day, I’m giving you a double-header. That’s right, twelve glorious minutes of photo enhancements using Photoshop!
The first first half deals with effectively softening your images. We look at several techniques that come in handy when softening hard lighting in a portrait.
The second half deals with achieving “that vintage look”. Part two also walks you through emulating the lomo effect, giving you a brighter, more saturated center with a falloff in brightness toward the outer edges of the picture.
