001: Simple Is Beautiful
Intro: You may ask, “Why should I watch your show?” Good design is about effectively communicating your ideas. And no matter who your audience, no matter what your ideas, effectively communicating your ideas is important. This show is six minutes of plain, easy-to-understand ways of using technology and design to better communicate.
The Philosophy: Simple is beautiful. And by simple, I don’t mean unfinished; I mean focused, finely tuned design that takes time.
The Practical: Using text as a logo. Converting text to shapes for better customization. Shape layers also port well to Illustrator and can be resized without losing detail.
The Peripheral: Check out LogoPond for more logo inspiration.

How about "Video Victuals?"

Not bad for a first show. My preference would be to get to the juicy stuff first (perhaps in first :30 seconds) preview what sites, tips, etc. you plan to cover. You may have wide audience base, so you won't please everyone (of course), but would be helpful to know if one should continue spending their 6 minutes of life watching at the beginning. Life's short, and only the last :30 seconds of this 1st post had true value. - Keep up the work - though- look forward to more...
